Some of these were traditional, and the digital ones are a mix of mouse and tablet drawings! ; o; I've been wanting to upload to these but. I was nervous haha;;

I am open to ideas on how to get better!!!! but pls don't be mean about it thank you

I will gladly help to be constructive. First off, your style is very adorable. It's childlike cutesy and simplicity that brings a smile. Your lines are generally clean and smooth. I see you tried some of those color palette challenge. Good! Those are extremely helpful with experimenting with what colors work and trying different things. I recommend everyone play with those once in a while.

My critic is merely that it you lack backgrounds and some extra detail goes a long way. I would explain in words but showing is much better to get point across.

So! Here's my doodle. There's endless ways to enhance it. I will just show a very simple way to help.

I add simple details to villager and a background with touches. Adding anything to help a flat color drawing will pop.

I understand why people avoid doing touch ups and backgrounds. They can be very tiresome, hard and scary. So starting off simple will make a person grow used to it. Then they can add more challenging things later on. For years, I drew in monochrome because I was afraid of how hard color would be to add to drawings haha orz.. the more we draw, we can get things done faster, sketches and line arts are done in a flash and we crave to add something more to our creations.
Though most importantly, we create art to feel good and because we want to. It's not about skill and shouldn't be something we put above all else. Sorry for rambling. I really hope this will help you and anyone else.
