Random New Horizons questions

I don't know if there is a random question thread, but I would like to ask a few.

Can villagers ninja move away if you don't play for a while? Do I need to tt to keep them?

Does grass die from running on it like earlier games?

Can I eventually move my house to the other half of the island?

How do you get a shovel and slingshot?

What is the point of the tool storage wheel if the tools just stay in your inventory taking up space? You can already swap tools with left and right.

The shovel and slingshot DIY recipes are available on day 2/3 from the Timmy/Tommy's shop. If you buy the Pretty Good Tools recipe from the NookMiles redeeming shop (the atm thing), you can also build a shovel/slingshot.

I believe you can eventually move your house and villagers housings through landscaping permits

It' easier to get bells than miles at least.

Q4: Shovel you get the recipe from Blathers, slingshot you buy from timmy/tommy

Q5: its quicker

Thanks for the help. This game is really fun so far. I can't wait to see what other fun things can be customized. Too bad the player's guide doesn't come out until later. I remember getting the New Leaf one when I bought the game.

I think some of this stuff is random. I did not TT and I'm on day 1. The slingshot DIY recipe was available for me.
