Can online friends pick up paths you have laid down (using designs) by pressing the button to pick up objects? (Paths to prevent grass loss)

Can other people who live in the same town (IE: on the same wii) as you pick up path designs on accident?

If so this would be crazy annoying because some are very detailed and I would have to get the patterns out of storage just to fix gaps. Like 10 diffrent patterns just for my Dirt paths. and like 12 for my main roads, I cant even carry all of them at once.

Is there a way to make it so patterns cant be grabbed off the floor by accident, I bumped the button while walking along, I had to go all the way to storage to get the pattern to fix it!

How do people take in game screen shots and post on the forums? SD cards?

If I want to sell some patterns, whats the best way to Advertise them? get a SD card? or Bring people to my town and show them off on the ground or cloths?

When Walking on Paths to minimize grass loss, the grass under the pattern is obviously dying, but how far out does the decay spread..?

Example: If the path is only 1 square unit wide and x's are grass and filled a square unit next to the path, how far back would the grass die from 90% of the time walking directly over the path (10% mis-steps here and there)

Yes they can. But they can not place patterns on your ground. This is why you quickly advise them if they do that they have to leave........and if it becomes drastic, just turn off your Wii.

Choice Number 2, except while you are showing off your artist awesomeness, <big>MAKE SURE ABLE'S IS CLOSED SO THEY CAN'T GO IN AND TAKE THE DESIGNS,(TIME TRAVEL).</big>

Unfortunately, I've had someone come to my town, picking up all the patterns from the floor. It was my friend from school and he thought it was funny but it took ages to repair.

I haven't let him in since because he'll do it again and I'm working on "Theming" my town.

Thank you guys, this was very helpful, One of my ideas is to line my pathways with flowers to prevent loss, is this a smart idea? Also I was going to plant flowers in dead spots here and there but im out of flowers, whats the quickest way to get more?

Also im gonna make a pattern for a fishing path, dirt with every 2-3 having a square with a fishing hook on it, then planting a row of flowers behind it to prevent decay and push back of the grass.

So does this realy work planting flowers ontop of decay to bring the grass back? I heard it comes back a little each day under flowers as long as you dont walk all over them.

Having flowers would help to stop grass decay if you put it next to the grass.
It's just getting all the flowers would be a problem!
