You don't really have to sign up for gaiatools. It's not all that mumbo jumbo with spam emails etc.

You just need to request a username and a password. That's it. :V

I don't see how anything is easier than Gaiatools, as someone else said, they don't even email you. You just request a username/password and you're done.
