receiving japanese DLCs again?

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place or has been answered elsewhere, please give me directions if so.

I own an japanese N3DS with a download ACNL - though I can hardly understand (via google translate ;-)) what my villagers want from me, it often simply gives me smiles to play this version.
Another good reason were the japanese DLCs (post office) I was interested in. But some time in the last year (mid august?) I got strange messages when asking for DLCs saying something about my access point. I gave it up, since i don't know other players of that version I could ask. Perhaps Nintendo won't supply any ACNL-DLCs for the japanese version...

End of last year I built a new japanese Town and was surprised that I could gain those DLCs again.
I got a Kadomatsu at the end of last year, a Kagamimochi on 4.1. and a Hagoita yesterday 10.1.

Are there any other enthusiasts that own a japanese version and can confirm these DLCs...or is my town broken?

...in Germany now we also get a strange message about the "access point" when asking for a DLC and there are rumours that Nintendo simply stopped that service.

I'm not totally sure what's happening in your Japanese town, but I can help you with the "access point" message.

Nintendo has stopped delivering monthly DLC through Spotpass (post office while on a home wifi connection). This is the reason for the message.

In some regions, content is still coming in through Nintendo Zones (post office while connected to nintendo zone wifi), but I'm not sure about Europe or Japan specifically.

It's unfortunate, but the rumor is true - Nintendo has, in most regions, stopped distributing DLC.

In times when I got regular DLCs I noticed that I could not get them for my japanese town through NintendoZone but there where new DLCs every half month for it via the normal internet connect.
My german town received DLCs via the normal connect (start of month) and a different one via the NintendoZone (mid of month).

Perhaps my japanese town is broken and misinterprets the messages from the server.
I checked every new day and got Pelly laughing since I already had received the latest DLC.

This town is quite fresh but I will save it and start a completely new one to check if I get the last DLC there also.


Edit:
I started a totally new town and also got the Hagoita as DLC from the post office there.
Meanwhile a member of the German forum I'm in posted that he asked a japanese friend that confirmed there are still DLCs for japanese ACNL. :-D
