Resident Night Mare
I'm slowly working on making Salem look pretty again. I used to have Perfect Town status there, so all the weeds and missing flowers... ugh. As soon as Weeding Day is over, I am switching over to the Beautiful Town ordinance.
I checked in with all my villagers, except Rocket. Actually, I couldn't find her until late, when she pinged me for fruit. No, I want her to ping to leave. Soon.
Everyone else was in good spirits. Kitt was looking for a new greeting, but since I had done that yesterday, I decided she could keep the one she had. I told her it was new, though, because that makes her happy.
Redd was set up on the Plaza. I snagged the Ancient Statue for the Museum. Blathers will be so happy. Only found three fossils, but one was something the Museum in Hollowyn needed. I set it aside to trade later.
Vic was hanging out in the Art Gallery, even though he said he doesn't know anything about art. Actually, I'm with you, big guy. Hazel was in the Aquarium, trying to see if Roald was correct about the water quality being better there, or some such nonsense. I don't know that I'd take Roald as an authority, Hazel.
Mathilda wanted to play hide and seek, which we all know is my favorite game. She gathered up Roald and Dizzy (yay!) to play with us. I found them all, but it was a close thing. Mathilda said she didn't really care who won or lost, because it's so much fun to play together. My sentiments, exactly.
I took the Regal lamp she gave me and had it refurbished in Royal Pink. It goes nicely in my upstairs room, with the Mermaid furniture.
I hadn't seen Beardo all day, and was trying to track him down, when I happened upon Kitt and Rocket talking. Rocket was telling about some exciting adventure from before she moved to Salem. Turned out she was a wood chopping champ. "My personal best is 114 logs split in half an hour." If you say so. Kitt countered with the time she made veggie pho for 20 minutes for a party of 50. Rocket conceded that they both were pretty adventurous. Okay, that was somewhat gracious.
I took a trip to the HH Showcase, just to see if there was anything worth picking up. I found a couple of small items, but nothing of note. After that, I did a quick swapping of visits with Emerald, giving her the fossil and cross-cataloging a few items.
Then I went to the café. Beardo was sitting at the counter, so I decided to end my day sharing a cup of coffee with him.

It was a nice end to the day.
Bunny Day today, so I'm off to find eggs and get goodies from Zipper. Hope everyone has fun!
