oh god i'm about to plant PLENTY now that i have seeds. it bloomed and it looked kind of pinkish (or dark coral?) which i didn't expect and i definitely like how it looks it next to the cherry blossom trees.
i like a more muted pink and i'm shocked the roses & tulips are too intense. they made the roses look artificial too, sorry. imo the best pink flowers in horizons are the mums so far though. can't wait to get white hyacinths to get pinks.

roses used to be my favorite flowers a hundred percent, but their new look would still need to grow on me. their shades are too bright for my taste

I think hycaniths are my favorite flower in NH, with Pansies as a close second! I really don't care for Tulips to be honest lol i do not like their look (ofc they are my native flower )

i dont have Mums Lilies or Roses yet but i have plans for when I finally get my hands on some...

i really can't wait to breed hybrids. i like the blue though but i might be biased because it's my favorite color. i haven't seen the purple but i'm sure it would look amazing.

can't believe i'm getting excited over a new flower... they look so minimalist and calming, very right up into my alley

by calming i mean, it looks clean and doesn't have weird shapes. some of the flower redesigns, they made it look too big or cartoonish (in my opinion)

the hyacinths in general look absolutely gorgeous!! it helps that i love them irl and already wanted them to be in animal crossing but i love how the game made them look. i NEVER use orange flowers because i dislike how they look, but i grew an orange hyacinth without trying and i really like the cute, more pastel shade they went with. i might use orange flowers in animal crossing for the first time because of them.

softer / a bit muted roses would have been perfect but oh well

i'm not really a fan of red either, but so far this one was the best red shade. for the others, i'm just waiting to breed more hybrids and i'll say goodbye to them (or plant them outside red houses/red toned villagers)

I really love the Hyacinths too! I came across a hybrid Hyacinth-Island and picked up a lot of blue, pink and orange hyacinths! I'm usually not a fan of orange, but the Hyacinth does pull orange off nicely. ;-) They are indeed pretty in all colors!

I didn't know that islands had original flowers and I don't remember what mine were now. I'm p sure it had to be rose or pansy! :|
