Guest, can you feel the love in the air? Valentine's Week at The Bell Tree has begun with a new mini-event featuring four activities to enjoy -- new and returning collectibles are up for grabs! Dive in to the love here.
What it says in the title. I want to see how well you guys improved since a decade, year, month, week, or even a day ago! Mine is prolly gonna come out really awkward.
So, go ahead and dump your awesome art! tbh everybody's art is awesome compared with mine ;-;
ayy i love this kinda stuff
the first stuff i drew on the pc was tamagotchis haha but i also drew people once i got my tablet
[x]
tbh i think i drew this in 2010 instead of 2011 but im not sure, it actually was a friends city folk character
also the 2015 version is 100% serious i swear
I don't know how old my 'old pictures' are. I can only guess they're about 2 years old since that's about when I started to draw regularly again (and they're in that 'old sketch book').
New ones will be from within the past month or so since that's about how long I've had a tablet (so still pretty recent to compare to).
(I've only really drawn three of my characters recently that I also have old pictures of, so I may as well throw up a comparison for each of them)
Old
New
I wish I kept all my even older stuff, would be neat to see just how far I've come since I was like 8 or something! Though at least this time next year I'll be able to look back and see if and how I've improved with digital art :3
With peoples original characters, I also like seeing if and how their designs have changed over time as well. It's just interesting to me. I look back at mine and have a whole load of thoughts from "I forgot they were supposed to have xxx feature" to "holy ****, what was I thinking!?".
