Referrals?

So I just recently got two people to join TBT and they both said they marked me as their referrer. I was just wondering if there was any kind of reward for referring people to the site. Not that I am expecting one, but usually when sites ask for referrers it's cause they compensate in some way. I am honestly just curious. (I don't pay much attention to my BellTreeBells so I wouldn't know if they were a sudden increase in them.)

I don't mean that's what they typed. I mean they might have been mistaken and wrote "Jake." not knowing it was the profile name, and thought that it was asking just in general who refereed them. I could see that happening.

I just found out about this feature a while ago while browsing my profile and seeing I had a referral. I spent three or four days digging through people on the forum I actually know to try and see who it was. I thought it was my dad at first but that definitely wasn't it.
