If lazy, skip to TL:DR

- In March of 2014, I joined this website. I was a new and active member here (and at ACC) and a daily player of Animal Crossing: New Leaf

- If you know me, you might know my then notorious reputation of constantly re-setting my town, and getting friends and strangers from here to hold the items I wanted to save for my new town.

- In December of 2014, I brought Tomodachi Life, and was slowly drifting away from my game to spend time with my Miis on my island

- By the spring of 2015, my sister, through a friend, got me Animal Crossing: Wild World, bringing me two towns.

- That year, I hid the cartridge somewhere near my bed since I was busy playing other games at the time, and I soon lost it.

- In November of 2015, I sent my 3DS to a phone repair shop (Father suggested this place) for my ongoing problem with my 3DS's faulty charger port. I never got news or anything since.

I had one comeback so far, but I blew off this site shortly, once again. I tried playing Wild World on DeSmuME, a Nintendo DS emulator for PC, but the lag was not good for me.

The main turn-off for Wild World for me is that it's a step back to what New Leaf is.

Since I lost my 3DS, the thought of 3DS and Nintendo died, even though I did check sometime for information on the then-called Nintendo NX (Now called Nintendo Switch) on it's subreddit.

Since I lost my 3DS, the computer and mindless browsing soon became the norm for me. At least nothing can distract me in bed anymore. I just don't really have any interest buying a Nintendo Switch because time passes, and I don't feel it's much as important.

TL:DR Used to be big player, soon lost interest in favor of new games, then lost the game, then lost my 3DS. Not a player anymore.

Talking about Animal Crossing makes me think about how far AC was faded about my life, and it feels empty that way. It's been so long that I think I can hold off from getting a Nintendo console for a while. But, I REALLY prefer handhelds, which is what I'm hoping the Nintendo Switch is.

I maxed everything out last year, started over, and didn't feel like doing it again. So my town is now just covered in weeds, and the surviving populace are probably zombies by now.

That's understandable. Despite being one of those people who somewhat over-controls their town, I think AC games are meant to just come and go. like it's a theme in the game, I feel haha.

I hope you find something to fill that void. I felt the same way when I left certain games I spent years in after being involved in the community, especially watching people disappear one by one. tbh, it takes a long time, and some of it is probably not replaceable.
