This is a list of region-exclusive holidays, meaning that April Fool's, Christmas Eve, and other days that ALL regions celebrate will NOT be listed. Only specific regions celebrate these holidays.

North America:

Nature Day, April 22
Labor Day, First Monday in September
Explorer's Day, Second Monday in October
Autumn Moon, [See Note]

European Holidays:

Japanese Holidays:

Boy's Day, May 5
Starcrossed Day, July 7
Autumn Moon, [See Note]

Note: Autumn Moon is celebrated on ther day of the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox. It can be in either September or October. In 2009, it will be October 4.

All items are to be obtained from Tortimer on the holiday for that region unless otherwise stated!

SECTION III
THE FAQs:
Q: What about the Leaf from April Fool's Day, or Chocolate Heart from Valentine's Day?
A: Those items are not region-exclusive, and the holidays are celebrated in all countries.

Q: Why is Newsprint Helmet listed as "not region-exclusive?"
A: Although it is something you get on a holiday that is only in Japan, the Newsprint Helmet has been confirmed to be available in Able's for purchase in other regions as well. It is "exclusive" in the same sense as the free fishing rods during tournaments are, but since it is given on a region-exclusive holiday, it is listed.

Q: What items can be purchased from Nook's catalogue?
A: Only the following items can be re-purchased through the catalogue, and do not cost many bells at all:
Festive Flag
Festive Candle
Kagamimochi
Kadomatsu
Hinaningyo
Newsprint Helmet

Q: Why did you not list the "Pikmin hat" or "top" items?
A: Honestly, as of now those are considered more DLC (downloadable content) rather than region-exclusive. Although at the time of this posting, yes, they have only been released in Japan, but for all we know we could get them in other regions very soon. Especially with Pikmin Wii being released in March in the USA, we could very well be getting the Pikmin hat then, since it coincided with the Japanese release of that game. ALSO, for the sake of neatness, I don't want to retype/make another sticky topic every time a DLC item is released. If you want to keep up with the Japanese DLC, follow this link: http://www.nintendo.co.jp/wii/ruuj/

Q: What about the ice cream and milk cases, the white and brown pots, and the moth orchid?
A: The ice cream and milk cases are NOT region-exclusive. The white and brown pots have been pointed out to NOT be region-exclusive items, but basically non-obtainable hacked items in the same vein as the Nook Store Wallpapers. They appear in Nook's Cranny, and the moth orchid appears in the HRA. Sorry for the previous misinformation! (Thanks to Liquefy for clearing these up!!)

Q: Where are the dates and holidays for Korea??
A: As of now, there is no list of Korean events. The items' status is based primarily on their location in the catalogue, as well as the objects' connection to Korean culture.

Once again, all items are to be obtained from Tortimer on the holiday for that region unless otherwise stated!
