I know some forums where it's acceptable to post in necro threads and bring them to the first page, but is that allowed here? Would it be considered spamming?
I'm seeing some pretty interesting old topics that are buried and I want to reply them. I looked through the site rules and whatnot, but there wasn't anything on reviving dead threads.

If not, I would suggest archiving the dead and locked threads so that the forum is much more cleanier? I don't know just a little site suggestion :)

Edit: After reading the site rules again, it says here 'Do not post in an old thread if the topic is no longer relevant. This is known as bumping a thread'. What if the topic is still relevant? I see many duplicate threads of the same topic

Bumping dead threads is really different with each case. As a general rule it's a bad idea to bump a thread. Saying that, there's plenty of cases where it would be fine as long as the post you make is of good quality and has a reason for bumping it.

My opinion is that, if the thread was resolved, don't bump it. If it is not resolved, and your post adds to it in a meaningful way, it is ok.
