Reset again. Cursed savefile?

So, I don't know if you saw my rage yesterday briefly, but I shall now tell you in more detail what happened. I was down to 8 since I finally managed to get a certain villager out, and since I didn't want a random 9th I decided to take in Pekoe, making sure to talk to everyone before I made a TT or just waited. And the next day Bam was in boxes without even telling me and since I talked to him the day before? I have heard of eShop games being glitched or corrupted in terms of savefiles, but retail copies? Certainly I was mad, I worked hard for my deers and had only three left.

So I decided to restart it. I have no time to cycle through 16 ****ing villagers for it and when it glitched like that? No thank you. Thankfully a great friend could hold my stuff and 2 mill.. Still I would have reset anyways if I had lost all stuff. I mean losing Bam like that was.. it. Seriously what did even happen? If you can explain, please do. Just don't trust the game, or well I won't do after this.

I lost Moe the cat. He was my last orginal villager and my friend did talk to him the day before, and he said nothing about moving to her's ( she had room for one more villager back then.) He said nothing to me about moving and all of a sudden, he's house disappeared and a letter saying he'd moved. I don't ever remember him saying he was moving, just remember him talking to me normally and talking about my friend. He never moved to my friend's town. I have the retail copy as well.

This happened to me with Zell. Whilst I was TT'ing back and forth to get Gracie over and over he was the only one awake (I think I was TT'ing between 5:59-6am back and forth) at the time and henceforth the only one I was talking to every day. I went back to the original date and he was in boxes.

Wow, man. Thing is it was during the enter period for Pekoe and such and she hadn't even finished moving in. Glad I'm not alone then.

Also I never had Gracie TT problems for it. But it's just that it can happen, barf. I mean they should ping if you talk to them (unless you ignore them then they will move ofc) but ugh.
