Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles

As a fan of Resident Evil I really am looking forward to this game. It's gonna be a slight remake of all 4 Resident Evil games inlcuding Resident Evil 0. It's gonna kind of like a first person shooter.

Mmkay so a few things...

1. Its not a remake, its a new game where you kinda play through resident evil 0-3 (I think? Maybe a few others... no one knows for sure) and some new areas

2. There are way more then 4 resident evil games.

3. Yeah, its more like a light gun game then a FPS. But I guess they are similar...

4. I'm looking forward to it, mainly for co-op

I was disappointed when Capcom announced that it would be rail shooter. Not because rail shooters suck, but because I was expecting a traditional RE for the Wii. I'm going to wait for some reviews before I decide if I'll buy it or not.

You know what's ironic, I read in an interview that IGN had with the guys working on Umbrella Chronicles, and they said that, originally, the game was going to be like RE4, but they decided to change it because they didn't think that the controls would work with the Wiimote. RE4 Wii Edition came out later in the year, and what was one of the things that was praised about the game? The improved controllers. <_<

So, we can all be sure that the guys that are working in UC are not the same ones that made the port of RE4...
