Restarting, new friends?

I've been forced to restart my island, and in doing such, was hoping to make some new AC friends to play with! I only ever had a few anyways, and was hoping to find people who still play! I'm starting fresh on a new device so I haven't much to offer yet but if anyone has shops I could check out as I gain bells, that would be awesome!
My islands fruit is peaches, so I have that to offer for now!
