Ring Fit Advanture

I like it. It's fun. I am a person who thinks exercise is boring and this makes it fun. You may want to supplement your workout though, meaning that this shouldn't be the only thing you do. Ring Fit Adventure is mostly cardio and yoga. If you want to do any strength training, for example, it's not very good at that. I unfortunately stopped working out (need to get back to it!) but when I did work out regularly, I used a combination of Ring Fit Adventure and fitness YouTuber videos. I specifically used Chloe Ting's videos, but you could probably use somebody else if you like them better.

I would also suggest buying a yoga mat to use with Ring Fit Adventure. I mainly bought it because of the Chloe Ting videos (was getting rug burn feeling on my elbows/arms/knees from the carpet in my room) but it's been helpful to use with Ring Fit Adventure too IMO.

I do also have Wii Fit. If you've ever played Wii Fit, Ring Fit Adventure is far superior IMO. Not only does it do a better job with the exercise routines and actually getting your heart rate up, but it's not mean to you. Wii Fit would make your Mii fat if the game considered you even a little overweight, and it would lecture you if you missed a few days in a row. Ring Fit Adventure doesn't do any of that. It actually even says encouraging things while you're playing now and then.

I had it. The "running in place" killed it for me personally. It's just no fun, but it teaches you different exercises and the game rewards you for doing them properly. The better your stance, the higher your damage against an opponent. The mini games might be worth it, but I only find it practical for kids.

I got it a few months ago and really like it. I live in an apartment so instead of running in place I'm able to do these mini squats as a replacement. It's definitely gotten me to exercise more and I've had fun doing it. I'm pretty weak (especially my arms) and I feel like it'd help me to get a bit stronger.

I got it as a Christmas present and I really should use it more often 😊 I need motivation to do it but when I do it is good for a little exercise. I do find the running tiring so I should do it more! 😂

I have just got the switch boxing game for my birthday recently. Can‘t get fit just having the games, I actually have to play them 😂

I was playing it for a couple months. I need to resume playing because I was around World 6. It's just that being summer and everything, I was starting to prefer doing things outdoors like swimming. I enjoyed the game but it wasn't my main preference for physical activity.

I loved it. I can't get out much and I wanna work out more, as well as adding RPG elements and playing it right after falling in love with the Final Fantasy games was perfect timing. I wish I could find my cartridge.

Thanks for the input everyone. I went ahead and bought it. I didn't expect it to wear you out as much.

This was after my first playthrough. To be fair, I did set it to about the highest difficulty setting since I was extremely active before the pandemic. My quads are sore from using it the past two days, so I may need to take a break.
