So it seems that, surprisingly, quite a bit of people are interested in RLC. But I'm completely new to RLC and not 100% sure of everything so I'm just going to use this thread to ask my dumb questions lmfao ; v;

Also all commissions will have transparent backgrounds. And some day I might do non-pixels, but today is not that day lmfao

- First are bases. I'm going to at least bring my old ones back while I try and make another acceptable one. (I was thinking $3)

- Non-base pixels. I'm getting more samples ready, sorry!! (8-ish dollars???)

- I really enjoyed doing these towns, even though they can take a bit of time depending on complexity. And they don't have to necessarily be Animal Crossing related! ($10+)

Looove the pixel towns, I've never seen anyone do those quite like yours before, so you've definitely got something unique and very eye-catching. Beautiful stuff there. I'd charge a little bit more, your work is quite clearly worth it. Consider that minimum wage in most places is around 7-8 dollars usually, so depending on how many hours you spend on your work should be a reflection in your costs as well.

I know, I understand. I still undersell myself, because it's a hard market, there are so many artists selling, and especially on sites like these there are a lot of younger people here that either only have part time jobs or use their parents' money, so you don't want to overcharge and cut off your audience. But sometimes you do have to up-charge a little, because you deserve it, and your hard work is worth it. What you do is as important as any other job in the world, and it might even be more important sometimes, because you have the extraordinary gift to create something out of nothing and bring happiness to people. I got really sappy towards the end, but it's true. Artists need a little love sometimes!

what people are paying you for -- it's not just the time you spent on the art piece itself, but also the time you spent polishing your skills to do the piece~
Some artists go by the minimum wage to price stuff yep!! I think there's a calculator that you can download somewhere so you can time yourself while working and see how much money you'd get under a rate you set for yourself << does that even make sense ahahaa;;
and dw about overcharging uuuuu the prices I suggested are the ones that I see on deviantart so I think you'll be fine!! owo`
