During their live thing, I asked RMC (GoNintendo) if he thinks Nintendo will ever take the Animal Crossing series more series and he said he wishes they did.

Too many half-ports... also, they should realize a large portion of their audience is not just kids.

I couldn't agree anymore. AC seems as though it's treated like it's not important to Nintendo, which is ironic, since AC brings in tons of cash for them.

Mario Is like The Icon For Nintendo,
Anything with Mario On Has Got to Get Loads of Cash

More like its ironic because its the closest thing hardcore Nintendo fans get from Nintendo this holiday season. Its going to be a pretty big seller.

Animal Crossing is amazing, but the series really does have so much untapped potential that its almost sickening that they wont utilize it.

Nintendo just needs to go back to their roots. I will almost assure you if they don't get their act together I will drop them for Microsoft. The original Xbox did not disappoint, but the 360 has way to many shooters. The Wii has alot of great things about it like internet and downloading old games (exception of emulation, since playing on the TV is great, bar none), but it just lacks games appealing to me.
We need MOAR Star Fox and Pikmin information!

Animal Crossing isn't exactly Nintendo's roots though :gyroidsurprised:

I think it's only because we play Animal Crossing so much that we don't exctly need more sequels.

Remember a time when games had to actually be FUN to sell? Now they just have to look good.....

Ah, those were the days......granted I was like 3 or 4, but I was still a gamer!

Sorry, no plans for a Star Fox Wii, I asked, and they gave me the "...but you never know what the future will hold!" line...

Katsuya Eguchi really deserves more praise from the top Nintendo executives for bringing in so much money for them...look how well the series are selling!! Come on Miyamoto! give him a raise!
