[Roleplay] The Aftermath

[Jawile]

"I feel alone." I say. "Kind of alone. I have you, at least." I look at Jade.

 

[Naiad]

[Beary]

"Who hasn't felt alone in their life?" I say softly, looking at the sky. "Any moment, I'm afraid that everything will change and I'll lose even more then I already have."

 

[Jawile]

"We were gonna name him Apis." I laugh, laying down in the grass.

 

[Beary]

"Does it have a special meaning?" I ask, laying down next to him.

 

[Jawile]

"Yes, Apis is an Egyptian deity." I say. "My whole family is very Egyptian."

 

[Beary]

"Oh really. I haven't noticed." I say somewhat sarcastically, then smile. "If I ever have a child, I hope it's a girl. Then I can name her Caylin."

"I was thinking of naming my kid Astes." I say. "Well, new kid, if I ever get that far..."

 

[Beary]

"Maybe eventually."
After a silence, I speak again.
"Caylin means, 'Cat girl'. Maybe she'll have cat ears to match my wolf ones."

 

[Jawile]

I laugh silently, something I was told my ancestor, Aions, used to do often. "Y'wanna know what Anku looked like?"

 

[Beary]

"Sure, if you don't mind telling me."
I move my arm a bit, and our elbows touch. It sends an unfamiliar jolt up my spine.

 

[Jawile]

"Like an Egyptian Goddess." I say, staring at the sky, feeling our elbows touch. "Her hair was long and dark, and her eyes were like gold. She was so beautiful."

 

[Beary]

"Wow." I breathe. "I wish I was that beautiful."

 

[Jawile]

"Y--" I stop myself.

After I regain my senses, i go down to get some water.
then i see Jade and a boy sitting.
It looks like they need private time, i think to myself.
So i climb in a tree and spy on them. P)

 

[Beary]

"Hm?" I say, not realizing what he was about to say. "I didn't catch that."

 

[Jawile]

"Yeah, uh, 's nothing." I say.

 

[Beary]

"I'll trust you on that." I say with a small smile on my face.

I climb up to the top of the tree.
The stars are so pretty...
Oh, look, a shooting star...
