Hello! I'm Lugh. I kinda ran around these forums for a while under a different name but RIP I don't even go by that anymore hahaha; please pretend that doesn't exist.
(Unless you're one of the two people who were expecting art from me; do please PM me if you still want that.)

Anyway. With the new patch I've kinda taken to playing ACNL again hahaha and uh... well... losing sleep over it (again).

So! Art is the solution. It is always the solution. Next to violence.
...I'm joking. Anyway. This is how it's going to work.

You leave a ref (or refs) here, with an offer in TBT and a request on which style you want, if you want a background, and any other requests, etc etc. Your offer can be low as hell or high enough to fund my town for years, but it really all comes down to your ref itself. If I'm going to really enjoy drawing your character/s, I'll probably do it for an offer of nothing. But if your character is something I really don't want to draw, I won't touch them, no matter how high the offer is. I'll post whenever I finish something. Simple, right?

I'll draw OCs, mayors/villagers, fanart, w/e! Just make sure to make personalities clear if it's important. I don't want an emo Sora or happy-go-lucky Riku on my hands.

Aww, thanks! And no problem, I usually just draw for fun and school but that sucks, I just started this in hopes of spending less time grinding on ACNL q_q managing 5~ish towns is hard.

I realized I forgot his tail way too late and afgbsdjkghfsgjkfk I'm so sorry! I made the layers for it invisible at some point and I forgot to put it back and and and aaaaaaaa
You can find the layers on the .psd file though!!! There's both a lineart layer and a color folder so just turn both on for it! I'm sorry for the inconvenience TT _ TT and thank you!

Could you consider doing her and him as a couple? She is serious, studious, and kind and he is grumpy, and perpetually sleep-deprived. He wears a white button-down (top two buttons undone and sleeves rolled to elbows), brown vest, brown slacks, and shoes are fine. You can draw her in the white shirt black skirt combo.

Oh my god. I had a double take at all the Zexion and Demyx art in the OP. I felt a sudden wave of Kingdom Hearts nostalgia roll over me, lol.
But yeah, that aside, I LOVE the sharpness of the lines in [this drawing]! it's my favorite of all the art you've displayed here in your thread so far. The detail on the clothes are incredible.

I also want to praise [this piece] and [this piece]. There may not be a lot of color variety, but they're still so interesting because the backgrounds are well-done. [This work] is also another notable one imo; the shading is wonderful and the little sparkles scattered everywhere make the piece look pretty magical!

Interesting that you find those chibis the best out of the set. I drew those using a 1024 pressure tablet (dark days, when my 2048 died, ahh) but I do agree the lines are sharper there. Perhaps I should see if I can switch pressure settings so I can keep that consistent...
And hahaha, I get that there wasn't much color variety in those, I guess at the time I thought it was a good idea (looking back, I'm actually cringing a bit at my work augh) but I did put a lot of time and effort into the backgrounds, and I'm happy you appreciate it.
Playing with lighting is a bit of an obsession of mine, though I try not to do it too much on pieces at once or else it'll get repetitive. I'm trying out more effects and little details, like sparkles and gradients and auroras, but it's kind of hard when I'm using 300 dpi A4 canvases- on SAI. rip hahahaha
