whats UP!!! to justify my lurking round these forums till ac switch i might as well start a little gallery!!! right as 2019 starts too how about that.

Spoiler: a quick about me:

- im ruri/ru
- 19 (birthday: 10/11)
- ill try to keep the thread updated but uni will inevitably kill me again :[
- i use mspaint + paint tool sai! (photoshop at school) ive been itching to try out csp so i guess ill check that out on a discount
- i love games!! mostly nintendo (splatoon, ac), overwatch, and a few other games i've been trying out lately... currently playing moonlighter, wuppo, okami...and other games i need to finish T_T

Spoiler: 2019 ART RESOLUTIONS

- human studies (life drawing, anatomy (bones & muscles), line of action, perspective)
- color exploration (use more palettes, a different set of colors then u usually use.. more saturated?, color theory)
- style explorations (vary lineart weight, try thinner/thicker lineart, make some cool brushes, use cool textures, figure out different ways to draw things)
- misc (learn to draw robots + furries, better handwriting, animations, learn to make animatics, start a nuzlocke comic

aaaaand a wip to start things off! im trying to figure out her colors before i go all in & i was looking for some opinions tbh

can i just say your avi and user title fit inexplicably so well together omg

your stuff is so flowy and expressive and i love your witch designs (especially the first one!!! it's so up my ally and i would totally want to do fanart of that design hhhh) i think the colours look really nice together so far and you have a good sense of shape. can't wait to see them when they're finished ^_^

FINALLY finished lining & beginning to color

pssst. yall i need an opinion on this. yay or nay on the little braids? i just added em bc i thought theyd be fun but maybe im just complicating the hairstyle for nothing??

also, re:braids i think!! the braids add to the character's personality a lot!! (a lil spunky, rustic, fun loving?) but also does seem to b a bit small to make out HM

i agree with poke, the braids are hella cute but they're also p small, i think they'd look even better if they were a tad bigger mb?
