I plan to "sell" my tbt for IGB but I dont see any anti scam options, since there would be a risk for my partner to end the connection as soon as I transfered the tbt to him/her... Any ideas?

Look at their wifi ratings. I trade them all the time and have never been scammed.

you should make them give you the bells first and then pay them the tbt after you saved and what aleshapie said as well

Scams don't happen all that often on here and if there are any issues with internet connections and such, most people will just send the money back when possible.

Changing the order in which the two currencies are transferred may not always be a great idea since the person you are trading with could become suspicious, especially as you are a new member with little reputation. Granted, you do have a fair number of positive ratings under your belt.

To make it so that being scammed quite frankly doesn't matter, you could (and should) split the trade up. For example, if you are selling 100TBT for 20mIGB, do 25TBT at a time, transfer, save and repeat. You should save frequently (even if you're not transferring a chunk of TBT at the time) anyway in case one of you loses connection since trading IGB can be really tedious. Trust me, it takes longer than you'd think.

it shouldnt be too much of a problem because even if you do get scammed mods can send the bells back

I wouldn't worry about getting scammed if you're the one selling TBT. TBT is pretty worthless if your trade rating is **** since no one will trust you to send it, so someone scamming you to get your TBT is unlikely because it won't do them much good to have it. Scamming is more likely with in-game item trades since someone can join this site, steal some stuff, and then move on to a different site.

I've traded villagers loads and never been scammed. Though if you are paronoid, check their wifi ratings and ask if you can have the bells first, though 59tbt isn't much. :)

Definitely trade a bit of bells at a time. Internet errors happen so it is annoying to not save midway through a trade. Check people's ratings. If you follow those two things, I pretty much guarantee that the trade will go smoothly.

If you are still worried, trade with someone who looks active on this site. Most people who plan to stay here, will be truthful.

a lot of people have good wifi ratings and i've bought igb for tbt a lot of times, never had any problems. just remember to save once in a while :>
if it's your first time i suggest buying from one of the exchange shops that usually are in the retail forum, they'll know what to do and many will tell you when to save ^^

Or make more accounts using the obvious anti-detection methods, lol. Not sure why they wouldn't just get an Action Replay doohickey, but hey.
