Salmon recipes

There are mulitple salmon recipes and I read that once you catch a salmon you get them all at once(I got 2 when i caught a squid). i tt'd back to sept and when I caugha salmon the only recipe I got was carpaccio de salmone. I caught a second one and got nothing. Are we supposed to get more than one recipe when we catch a salmon or are the other just random from villagers and the hhp restautant?

I remember asking a similar question.

I was told you need to catch at least 4 salmon to unlock them as the salmon recipes are not taught all at once.

i was wondering about that. i caught 2 but the second one didnt give anything. i wonder if it has to be a different day? ill try that

went to a different day. first catch got me nothing. i waited a bit(was checking google for info which i didnt find) caught another one and got 3 recipes. poke,salmon sandwich and salmon bagel sandwich.

apparently. i got 1 recipe with the first salmon. i caught another right after and nothing. i thought maybe it needed to be a different day so i tried that. first one on that day nothing but the 2nd that day(and 4th total). i got 3 diys at once. so it looks like u get 1 right away and after u catch 4 total u get the others. i thought it was 1 recipe each time u catch one but that was not the case.

You need to catch 3-4 salmon total to unlock all 4 recipes. And yes, first one you’ll get a recipe, then by the time you catch your third or fourth it should unlock the remaining 3 recipes.

Also, I say 3-4 cus I personally don’t remember how many it took for me, but since others are saying 4 total, then aim for that.

Not to hijack this post, but I'm missing 3 fish and 2 creatures to complete my Museum all of which can be caught in Sept, so if any of you guys would be kind enough to host me at some point I'd be super grateful.

When I caught an Anchovi, I got 2 recipes, so I assume that it means that you get all recipes when you catch a fish...
