Save Our Grass Petition!

(As the description reads, sorry if this has been covered before, I cant seem to find it on the search function though.)

We all know how annoying the grass loss is, and that it can genuinely have an adverse effect on the gameplay experience. Well, now there is an online petition to pressure nintendo to make a patch that, if not completely, at least partially removes the feature, to preserve a towns aesthetic appeal.

Wishful thinking? Well, Additional Content is still being released, and with hackers having proven it can be done, Nintendo would be well placed to stop more and more people turning to them as a solution. And its not like the movement doesnt have support - over 5,500 people have signed so far, and im sure many more would if they knew of it's existence.

Once again, i apologise if its already been raised before, and if so feel free to lock this thread. But i just think this is a problem that really makes the gameplay suffer in what is otherwise an absolutely brilliant game.

PS: I will be writing to the UK Official Nintendo Magazine to raise awareness (god, i sound like Bob Geldof now) and i urge any other UK Bell Tree members to do the same!

I think everyone on this board is fed up with Grass petition topics now, just plant lots of flowers and walk around town to keep your grass from wearing. I also recommend placing paths and using them to go from one place to another, it won't stop grass wear, but it will slow it down greatly.

But grass only gets ruined if people run. And don't blame others while on WFC, because that doesnt affect your grass. I have had my newest town since the beginning of March and still have over 90% of my grass. Log in every day, dont run or walk on dying areas. Your grass will grow back.

are you saying that when you play on wi-fi and you run on grass, it doesn't affect it? i thought it did though, ive torn up my town while on wi-fi.
