Hey does anyone know what kind of SD card you need to save your pictures on ACCF? I have a 2GB SD card right now, but every time I try to save, it says that my SD card is "write protected". What does this mean? I really want to take pictures...

Get a 2GB Kodak Memory SD card. That's the one I have. It works just fine! :)
Wow! Like, thats the same i have too! D: I even went on the net to find a solution. but it keeps saying that my SD card is locked. I keep flipping the lock and unlock switch on the SD card, but it says its locked no matter what...

Well I have a Kingston Micro SD Adapter and my Micro SD card is a SanDisk 4GB. On mine the lock switch is up. I don't know what could be going wrong with yours. have you inserted it the right way, and is there room on it because if it has no memory that wont help.

Hope this helps x

yes, mine is a 2GB kodak memory sd card. It doesnt have ANYTHING on it. it also says something about being "write protected". how do you turn that off?

Hmmm... I really don't know =[ Have you tried putting it into your computer and looking at it's properties and options? I have never had this problem myself, but I really want to help you x

>.< thanks...and yeah, I even had a friend to come help me. He had tested it on my computer and sure enough, the sign came up saying that I couldn't add things to it. So he turned it off adn he could add things. But it doesnt work for the wii. x.x even in the wii system menu it said I can't copy things onto it to format it with the wii.

That's odd! It could somehow be defective and you might just have to get another SD card! I currently have a Lexmark SD card and it saves my pics. I don't think the brand name matters much....I really think it might just be defective. Try getting another card! Hope this helps..... :)

I agree with Faithe. Your card probably just has some issues. Or call someone at Best Buy. :)

Try formatting the SD card by computer. Just right click the icon and click Format.

this.

insert the sd card into the slot on your computer, or put it into a camera and connect that by usb.

go to "my computer" and check for KODAK, after J:/ or some other letter, in removable disks.

if it's blank/nothing's on it, go back to my computer (remembering which letter is your SD card) and right click the sd card, then select format.

on the options window that will come up, click "Quick Format" and then hit ok.

try that, and see if it works. if not, try a SanDisk. you won't need anything bigger than 1GB or 2GB, as you can always erase the pictures when the card gets full, and just keep them on your computer. :)

you can also save Virtual Console games or backup your Wii Game Saves (some of them) onto your sd card, if you are running out of space.
