Are there any houses you totally butchered because you didn't like the villager, or just for the fun of it? Back in fall/winter, Rolf was waiting to get his house done, and I wanted to knock him outta the way, so I decided to merely fill his house with garbage cans. I left the "needed things" outside.
He griped at me for putting two by the door, so I had to remove two of them. If you've seen most of my posts, you know he is my least favorite villager of all time.

So, what are your stories of hosing up villagers houses. Did you fill it with crap? Did you leave it pretty much empty? Did you just unbox the furniture and end your session?

Screenshots are welcome!

I've pretty much stuck to what they've wanted. I've never really butchered anyone's house on purpose or designed freely despite on what they asked for.

But that's a pretty funny thing to do!
"You're trash. You belong here with your fellow trash. Your family."

I don't often leave a villagers' house empty unless the theme they want is something I really don't care for or can't make anything decent out of. I don't think there's anyone I dislike strongly enough to trash their house :)

nope, if i dont like the villager then i'll just ignore them completely, butchering/changing their house requires giving them some sort of attention, and attention is the last thing i want to give to an unwanted villager.

when I first got the game I rushed through the early villagers I didn't really like and just put one thing in their house and submitted it

I messed up Scoot house by accident because I didn't find any fitting furniture. He said:
I can't believe I have to live in a place like this... Black, you RAAWWCKK!
Um, wut...

Claude, but only because I was in a rush to get all the items loaded onto cards, and listed on ebay before they became available in North America- I used a Japanese version. Too bad that was only like hours, as they released them pretty quick. Now, I go to Claude's house, and it's got the entire set just thrown in there with no order! Poor guy...

I'm such a bad person -- I frequently will make houses for villagers for the sole purpose of unlocking their furniture, and leave them with a crappy house. I do intend to eventually go back to them and give them better houses when I have more furniture and more inspiration for what to do with their house, but... That list is very long, haha. I'm so bad with this, I've actually bought Amiibo cards of characters that unlock furniture I want, and so far, I've left both of them with crappy houses... Ahh, I'm so mean.

Just today I really screwed up Pashmina's, but what do you expect Rococo and Gorgeous are tough to try to mix!!

Regardless of whether I like a villager or not I still decorate their house according to their request. Sometimes it can be challenging if you haven't unlocked enough items.

I have never personally messed up any villager's houses, but a pretty messed up house is Rasher's heist central theme...

The featured items scared me. I wanted to call the police, there were piles of money and briefcases full of money...

I can't believe Rasher is into heists...

I actually like to design the houses how the animals want, and then go back to their house later, and redesign it how I want it lmao.
