Second Player Progression Issues

Hi guys!

I created this account because after extensive google searching I could not find the answer to my problem. My girlfriend recently created a character on my island and we cannot figure out how to upgrade her tent to a house. Just before she created her character I had upgraded Tom Nook’s tent to the town hall. Because of this she is unable to talk to Tom Nook because he is behind the counter. When accessing the ABD there is no option for her to pay off her loan, only to save money in her account. And since she can’t talk to Nook, she can’t spend her Nook Miles to upgrade her tent. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Can secondary accounts even upgrade their house?

what do you mean exactly when you say she's unable to talk to him? sitting at the chair at his counter should allow you to talk to him about your house i think

Sunchild is right, your girlfriend can sit at the counter and then talk to him!
