Hello! Welcome to the Bell Tree!
Since you're new here, I'm going to give you a little help. Most of the time when people sell fruit here on the re-tail forum, they're selling fruit in baskets. Baskets (as I'm sure you parobably know) consist of 9 fruits all bunched together. If you don't yet have enough fruit to make a basket or two to sell, you can always plant a few more trees and wait a few days in game (or time travel), to gather more fruit. Travelling to someone else's town is a time-consuming process, and most people probably aren't willing to do it for only 5 pieces of fruit total.
Most members of this part of the forum, already have most of the fruits in their town (there are some exceptions, but they're pretty rare). However, if you have lots of baskets of perfect fruit, you can easily trade perfect fruit for other perfect fruit, or sell it quite quickly on this forum.
Other things that can be bought, sold, and given away here are flowers (particularly hybrids), items such as furniture, clothing, and usable items, and services such as RV visits and other things.
