Selling Plots Question

If I have two land plots in my town, and one today says SOLD, but I am going to someone else’s town to invite a villager today...
Will this villager ALSO be able to move into my OTHER plot of land, or will the ’void’ for the day already be filled by this one generated sold house?

I think the plot will be sold but they will move in one day at a time!
