Requests- Sorry but no!
Item Trades- Yes! Read the fourth "❌"
Art Trades- No, not currently.
Commissions- Nope.

I thought I should make a separate thread for my AC artwork. A lot of my pieces are two years old so I wanted to make newer stuff. =D

❌ Every single piece in this thread is hand-drawn/hand-painted. If your interested in buying any originals feel free to send a message! (This is limited to my newer pieces, not my 2014 ones)

❌ Please do not re-post, steal my artwork. I really do not tolerate these two things. I understand that tracing is an important learning curve in understanding styles. Though I don't condone tracing my work I would rather you do not post it online. You can show it to me if you would like, I would love to see!

❌ Feel free to ask me questions! You can even come on here and ask me to critique a piece of artwork you've made. Or simply just art related discussion! It's not only for me to post my art.

❌ I do not take requests but I am interested in trading items for art! This is limited to villagers and mayor art. No complex backgrounds. (Sorry they're just too much work for some virtual items) If you're interested you can ask me what kinds of items I'm looking for.

I'll start it off with this...

This one was made with fineliner, ink and white paint!

You may now post! =)
I would love to hear people's opinions on my recent ink painting of the Able sisters.
Haven't drawn anything AC related in 2 years, hoping I haven't become rusty.

I love the cat on the train one (forgot his name)! It's so cute o: also both sheeps

I like all of them! I wish I was that good with painting!

Bunnilla- Aaaah! Rover is my favourite npc. I've got to draw him again sometime. Thank you!!

Eudial- Thank you! I'm sure you can master it with some practice.

JohnCena- Thank you!! =D

Wow, you are very talented!
I esp. love the Able sister one in your sig.! :D

Thank you!! I hadn't noticed you had commented here already. My bad! =')
Thanks for checking out my art!

Oh my goodness! Your art is soooo gorgeous! TT^TT I have always been terrible at traditional art with anything but a pencil or charcoal, so I truly appreciate your skill! The way you portray the animals reminds me of the old fairy tale books from my childhood! They have a very whimsical feel and I love them!

I especially like your signature and the new black and white Able sisters piece! I love those little hedgehogs and you have done an amazing job! <3

I enjoy drawing the hedgehogs the most so I'm glad you like them!! Of course I used to be terrible at it but I'm an incredibly stubborn person and didn't have internet or any good art program until later on. So I only ever worked traditionally, I'm thankful for it now though! I am pretty terrible at digital art though. ='''D

Thank you!! If you ever want to get back into traditional mediums feel free to stop by, I have tons of advice I can give.

THESE ARE SO EFFIN GOOD. Just as beautiful as the work in your other thread! You are an amazing traditional artist. Traditional art is also my best, but I'm not a great artist, and it seems like the only things that ever turn out well for me are the things I truly want to do. I had a small art shop on here and had to close it for various reasons. I'd love to draw again, but I always got my best inspiration while bored in school, and now that I'm out of school I have lost my desire to draw. My hands also don't like drawing very much. I have a nasty callous on the finger that I rest my pencils on, and no matter what kind of pencil or however comfortable it may be, my finger always feels so raw when I draw. My hands dry out when I draw too. I guess from the paper or the pencils?

Thank you!! I completely understand what you mean. I have gone through long months of art block that have always been excruciating. Usually though after these blocks I find something new and inspiring that suddenly sprouts a bunch of new ideas. You probably felt motivation to draw in school because often our brains don't like being forced to learn one thing and will make you want to do anything but that. I assure you though that motivation can be regained! From the way you talk about your own work, it sounds like you don't have much confidence in it. Having low confidence in your art can be a very big motivation killer and it's hard to build up confidence again but it's so much better being proud of your work than it is to be ashamed of it. If you do want to get back into drawing again I highly suggest showing somebody your artwork. You can always post it in this thread if you would like. In doing that, it may help you become more confident in showing your art to other people.

Another important element to gaining motivation is inspiration. Do your ideas feel stale and unoriginal? If yes, then you lack inspiration. You may want to set out and gather/search for as much inspiring material as possible. This is incredibly helpful even if your ideas don't feel stale, I highly recommend to any artist that they should gather up a collection of inspiration and keep looking! Never stop looking, because you need to keep your head fresh with new ideas/new inspiration. Everyone has different things they take inspiration from and it is usually never one thing. I suggest looking into artists you like, search for new ones that you've never seen before. Save there work somewhere so you have a collection of pieces you like. Do a thorough search and you may discover a brand new style you really love. Go to bookstores, find books that you really like the illustrations of. Look for new music that stirs certain emotions and make a playlist. Look into movies, maybe there's a certain film you reeeaaally love. You can take what you like so much about it and put it into artwork. Once you have a huge heap of inspiration will find yourself feeling a lot more motivated and inspired to make something out of it.

As for the physical effort of producing a piece of artwork, I really understand this because I've gone through that. I can get really bad back aches if I work too long and that can be incredibly uncomfortable and when it happens I get zero motivation to do anything. I don't do full pictures made with only coloured pencil because the strain on my hands is too much. My hands will ache for days if I do that. I used to only work in coloured pencil, I was scared to try out painting because I didn't have much experience with it. When I eventually tried it though I never turned back! I don't feel the same strain on my hand and when I paint and I could work a lot quicker. I suggest that you look after yourself, there are exercises that artists do with there hands to stop these aches and pains from happening. It's probably worth looking these up! You might also want to try working in a different way, just like how I switched from coloured pencil to painting.

haha, I went a bit overboard with this comment and I'm not even sure if you were implying that you wanted to try again or not. Oh well, I'm sure it'll be useful to those that read it and I hope it helps you someway!

Thank you very much for your kind words an advice. I'm not very confident in my work. I'm not ashamed, I don't believe any artist is or should be ashamed of their art, like you said. But we are our own worst critiques I believe, and I compare my work to others' work quite often. Throughout my years in school, there were plenty of times where I even got big headed and though that my work deserved to be displayed rather than someone else' work. But that wasn't exactly my decisions either. I've learned to be humble, or at least to hold my tongue when I should, and have never given myself more credit than I deserved. I'm also not the best at completing things. I've had this same piece in a folder, only half complete, for almost a year now. It isn't even that I don't have the inspiration to complete it, rather, I just dread the thought for some reason. Probably because I have to finish a background for it.I despise working on backgrounds haha. Not all of my ideas feel very stale or unoriginal. Although sometimes I forget that there are hundreds of thousands of other artists out there somewhere. And I create something I feel is original and interesting, but then I find out that it's already been done. Not exactly like mine, but it was already so flawlessly executed by another artist, and I become so discouraged. Unfortunately, I don't believe any one idea can ever be completely original and never before done, because there are millions of other people who could have done it just as I have. Even if I never see or hear of it in my lifetime. I do listen to art and watch movies that inspire me, but that just doesn't do the trick for me. I really feel like the only way I can find any motivation to draw again is when I'm super bored, in school for example. When I don't have ,any other forms of entertainment. If I'm bored at home my first idea is to watch TV or play a Game lol. I'm going to try and find a way to get myself drawing again though. It's always been wonderful. Distracting, relaxing, and a great outlet. In the meantime I've taken up sculptures and jewelry though. But they are fairly expensive at times, and also require inspiration that I rarely find, and it's typically in the middle of the night!

Thank you very much for the advice and for discussing this with me. I don't think you said any more or any less than you needed to, and I appreciate your concern. From one artist to another, it's nice to hear these sorts of things. Knowing that someone is willing to give you a form support and that they understand you.

OMG! I adore your style so much!! <3 It's so beautiful ; v ;

@Petey Piranha- The subject of motivation is very complicated. I've been lucky enough to always find it easily but I've done a lot of art courses and I've seen a lot of students struggle with motivation. Art has always been incredibly important to me and I can't imagine myself doing anything else because I've always been drawing. Sometimes it's hard for me to step back and think that other things are just as important and I think this is one of those situations. As much as it is for me, art isn't everything for everyone and it's perfectly fine to do it now and then and not at all. I think that's important to acknowledge and rarely said as art is often promoted as the "you must follow your dreams" kind of career hahaa! I wish you luck with whatever route you would like to go down in the future and if you ever end up making a piece of art I would love to see it. =)

@Orieii- Thank you so much! <3

Next time I complete something I would gladly share it with you! I used to want to pursue an art career, but I think it's a bit too challenging for me. I lack motivation in many of areas truth be told. I have also been drawing for a long time, but that's probably just because I was in school for years! I do love drawing and art, but perhaps it isn't my calling in the end. Thank you for your wishes, and I wish the same for you. Art is no easy task, even for the gifted, after all. But that's what makes it so valuable. ;D

While I'm at it I should probably post this...

Not animal crossing related but didn't really want to bump my other thread when this one is active. ='D
This is an acrylic painting I made yesterday for a friend of mine. The character belongs to them.
I'll be doing a lot of acrylic painting gifts over December! I'm really enjoying it.
