Just out of curiosity, has anyone received the golden axe from Serena by using the "so called" Golden Karma Rule?

Personally I think it's nonsense. That guide hasn't helped me at all in getting it!

Even wearing the four-leaf clover doesn't make a difference.


I really hate this unfair challenge, I am willing to use hacks to get that golden axe. That is saying a lot!

It's totally random, though, if she gives it to you or not, regardless of your answer

Yup random. I thought for sure I'd just get my axe back- got the golden!! YAY! By the way, this was my LEAST favorite, because it totally felt like I didn't earn it, at least with Wild World and Animal Crossing I had to have a perfect town... :/

Actually, in WW, you don't need a perfect town to get the golden axe.

I'm hoping I can get enough bells to donate so I can obtain the fountain.

OMG! It's finally over! After how many tries, 200, 300? I lost count, but the quest for the golden axe is finally over!

That was the most annoying and tedious gold tool to get. And the best part is, I didn't have to resort to any hacking!

Congrats! Yeah, it's a pain; I think it took me a couple hundred tries too. I'm glad they didn't include that axe-tossing nonsense in New Leaf.
