Epilogue_________________________________________________I couldn't control it. The darkness. It was too strong for me. The power. The temptation. I just couldn't understand it. It had chosen me. So why did it reject me. WHY DID IT REJECT ME?! _________________________________________________Jordan sat up from the desk, putting down the book he found in the library database section. The book puzzled Jordan. It was a dark black book, with red outlines around the rims. Yet it wasn't the look of the book that confused Jordan. It was the fact that the book had only had those few lines it it. A book with over a hundred pages in it, and only a few measly words. Jordan put the book in his bag and walked out of the library, smiling at the lady at the front desk as he left. He wanted to do some research on the book at home. Looking up, he saw that the sky was growing darker. He pulled his coat up and dashed off home._________________________________________________I couldn't control it. The darkness. It was too strong for me. The power. The temptation. I just couldn't understand it. It had chosen me. So why did it reject me. WHY DID IT REJECT ME?! I released the darkness. I gave it life. So why could I not control it? I lost my life, my family and friends, all because the voice in my head told me to let the darkness control me. All because of that stupid voice. That stupid... stupid voice..._________________________________________________Arriving at home, Jordan closed the door and locked it, not wanting to be disturbed. He looked out of the window and saw that it was raining heavily. He sighed, thinking to himself about how lucky he had been to just get inside before the heavy rain started. He put the book down and opened it. To his surprise, there were new lines in it.
"Now what the heck is going on here?" Jordan mumbled
Part 1: The Darkness in us all_________________________________________________I did this for her. All of this for her. The power... I just wanted her to be happy... I just wanted her to be happy... That's all I wanted. It promised me that. It promised she would be happy... But it rejected me. Just like she did..._________________________________________________ Jordan opened the curtains as a new day had risen, and new lines had appeared in the book. He puzzled over this new text, but finally gave into his stomach's cries for food and headed to the kitchen. It was a beautiful day outside, and the heavy rain from last night had gone, leaving only a few clouds in the sky. Jordan sat down and poured himself a glass of orange juice, as he looked on his laptop. He had an email from his friend, Gemma, and wondered what she wanted. He opened the email and smiled._________________________________________________She hadn't smiled since the day he left. I tried to be there for her. But it was never going to be enough. She just wanted him. She cried. She tried to make me feel better about it all. But I knew she was sad about it. She was my friend... She was more than that to me, but I just wanted her to be happy. I would do anything for her to be happy_________________________________________________ Jordan finished his breakfast and realised that more text had appeared. It was startling how it was appearing at an increased rate. But he had other things to do now. He needed to get ready. He was going for a walk with Gemma. He smiled to himself and thought that this was gonna be a good day. After a while, he had put some clothes on, made himself look a bit more presentable and snatched an apple to eat as he headed out the door. He failed to notice that more text was appearing. And this text could be important to events about to occur.
