what does it mean when something is sold out in tbt shop? is there a date for when it comes back again, because I have to buy a new mailbox and I don’t have enough for a 800 tbt one

I think a better place to ask that would be here

but i mean this may seem like a dumb question but have you deleted the older messages from your inbox and sent messages? that would free up a lot of space

i believe they restock the sold-out collectibles and add-ons during some bell tree directs. they haven't restocked since june so its been a while

shop restocks used to often occur whenever one of the admins posted a "Bell Tree Direct" thread on the bulletin board, which used to be roughly once a month.

in 2016, nearly all of the restocks took place during a single event in May, i think it was called Restockapalooza or smthn.

similarly, in 2017, nearly all of the restocks took place during one pre-announced shop event in June.

i haven't seen anything from the admins addressing how restocks will work this year, so maybe it will be just once during the entire year again...

I am a little confused on how they can run out of a digital item. I know to boost rarity of colectable they limit the number it can give out. But why basic items such as mailboxes and other items like that?

I think the add-on items are not all stocked in constant supply simply because their features impact server strain (mailboxes, additional envelopes). Some sites don't even allow users to expand from the preset messages limit; this system at least ensures that those members using additional server memory for storage are legit interested in the site.

restocks don't actually exist, ignore the people saying otherwise. they're charlatans simply trying to trick you into waiting for a moment that'll never come
