So, I've already purchased AC:HHD but I have not opened it yet. I was wandering if I should take the game back to Bestbuy and purchase the New 3DS AC:HHD bundle before their sold out. I seriously can't make a decision > . < Can you guys help me come to a final decision please? ; m ; Also is it cheaper just buying the game by itself and updating my 3DS later or is it cheaper to purchase the AC bundle?

Well, I pre-ordered HHD with the NFC reader, but then I ordered the HHD N3DS bundle...but my boyfriend can use the download code for his copy of the game, so it worked out for me in that respect.

Really, it's up to you. There is going to be N3DS XL systems you can get for $200 instead of the 220 the HHD is going for. I really wanted a smaller sized system instead of the XL versions because, while the added size is nice, they're hell on my weak wrists.

So if you prefer the XL systems, I'd say wait, but if like the smaller systems, I vote for this bundle.

Thank you for your input! I actually do prefer the smaller versions of 3DS TT v TT)p I was hoping and praying that Nintendo would change their minds and release the standard-sized 3DS in NA but idk if they ever will *sighs* and I'm not a fan of the N3DS colors either so I would much rather have a cute AC design on it. It also seems cheaper to purchase the bundle instead of buying the game separate :/ Ugh, decisions, decisions..

The advice you just gave me is wonderful btw :D Very helpful! Thank you so much~! <3 I just need 1 or 2 more opinions and I'll be able to make my final decision! I hope your wrists are feeling better now *hugs* :'c

I got the new 3DS bundle and I had previously owned the pink 3DS xl. Honestly I love the new 3DS a lot more than the xl model(at least the old one). The changeable faceplates, colored buttons, faster speed, better 3D and smaller but not too small size makes this system really awesome for me! In addition, the new 3DS is light but still has some heft to it. I really do recommend this system if you are ok with smaller screen sizes!!

I also got the new 3DS bundle. I have really small hands and the new 3DS XL is just too big for me. Plus, I also like to carry my 3DS around with my backpack and it's not that large. I like the standard sized 3DS since it fits perfectly in my small compartment.

Besides, the New 3DS that comes in the bundle has a built in NFC reader and has the changeable faceplates x3

If you prefer the smaller 3ds then yes, I would say get it. It's the only version of the small N3DS that the US has access to right now, and there haven't been any announcements (that I know of) to bring the regular versions over, so this might be your only chance at the small N3DS. Ultimately though it's up to you. :)

I had the original small 3DS, so I wanted the small N3DS. I bought the Animal Crossing bundle N3DS on the off chance it was the only small N3DS we get here in the US. I have to say, I really like this N3DS, the Animal Crossing faceplates are really cute, especially the one with the house. also, I feel like the build quality is improved on this device compared to my original 3DS. I feel like anyone who likes the smaller 3DS and thinks the faceplates it comes with are cute, will be very happy if they get this bundle.

I don't know if it is cheaper than getting a similar system and the game separately since I don't know what nintendo would charge for the small N3DS in the USA, but considering you are getting a system, a game and two sets of faceplates that each are usually anywhere from $10-$20 depending, it seems like a decent deal.

Obviously the decision is yours. Best of luck! ^_^

I'm a little confused about what bundle you mean. Before I just had the regular 3DS (not the New 3DS) and was going to get that bundle that comes with the game and card reader so I can use the cards with the 3DS but I changed my mind and got the New 3DS bundle with the game. I could not resist since it's so cute. The smaller size seemed like a bit of a disappointment when I realized it was not an XL but I really don't mind the smaller size I guess. At least it is more compact. I was annoyed though that in this bundle the New 3DS did not come with a charger! The New 3DS does seem like a nice upgrade. The 3D does look better!

Yeah...Nintendo isn't bundling their new systems with chargers anymore, since if a person has/had a regular 3DS, it's the same charger.

Between my boyfriend and I, we currently have three chargers to use. (We had four, but our bunny killed one...)
