I have all my dreamies, perfect town status and over 50 million bells. Which is the problem. The game is super boring now. No reason to go to the island, work in the cafe, or do anything else. I really want to reset, but I really wish I could bring my cat dreamies with me. Kiki and Bob are my two favourites, and they are what is holding me back. I also have many hybrids and public works projects that I have worked hard for. Any input about town resetting would be great.

Try switching to a new theme and try being more creative with bushes and paths..like for example, my town theme is fairy tale. My house exterior, paths, train station town hall are all designed based off the fairy tale theme. Restarting could also be a nice thing because you're starting new and have more goals to focus on, but you might want to have someone hold onto your bells. It's really your decision because it would be a shame to let a "perfect" town go to waste, but it's also a "satisfying" feeling to start completely new

Do you have an actual copy or just an in game copy? If you had other SD cards, then you could just switch to a different one and get the game again and you'd be able to keep your other file. It sounds to me like you have a really good town which might be good for just keeping pristine and good. If you got another 3DS and another SD card, you could switch Kiki and Bob to your other town or something like that. Other then all of that, not sure what to do.

Yeah, I agree. I think I would know more about how to make my town nicer if I reset. :)

I have an actual copy of the game. I think I am going to reset, as I found someone to give me both kiki and Bob. Thanks for your input :)

Just take a break from Animal Crossing. If you really want to reset, just have someone hold your stuff for you.

I wouldn't reset, I'd just try to change things up a bit. For example, if you don't mind losing your other villagers, you can try to get some new ones. You can change your town's decoration and try to set new goals for your town.

I can see why you wouldn't want to wreck a town that you've perfected, but unless you were getting a second copy and keeping your main town like a museum, you'd be losing it anyway. This way, you'd get to keep your progress and memories of that town while still having some novelty and it would be easier to undo changes if you ever want to make it look the way it looks now.

If you really want a completely fresh start, resetting might be a good idea. You can try to get someone to hold Kiki and Bob for you and move them into your new town as soon as you can.
