Should They Bring Back Nintendo Items (Master Sword, Arwing, N Logo, etc)

Those items were classic. They should definitely bring those items back and add a bunch more. I would be giddy like a school girl who's crush just talked to her for the first time if they brought all those items back plus new ones like Banjo Kazooie's golden puzzle pieces which would float in the air like the Mario coins, golden bananas from Donkey Kong 64, maybe even Paper Mario items like the pipe but in Paper form lol and maybe even Pokeballs etcetc. Imagine Ancient items from BOTW. Imagine being able to place a Shrine replica furniture from BOTW. Giddy school girl mode is in full effect guys...

True we have mario stuff but that was due to an anniversary celebration. And I don't think they fit the vibe either.

EXACTLY OMFGG. If they had the N and G logos I would have them both in my house and on my Island right now. I used to love those items as well. They're just unique and mad cool

I agree, but more than that I wish the the arcade games were able to play NES games again. I mean, there’s so many platforms to play those games on now so it isn’t necessary, but I’d love it.

No lie tho. I have Mario style areas all over my island. One part of my beach has the desert vibe from Super Mario Bros 2 and another part has the Koopa Village vibe with the spinning shell and the radio like that one Koopa in his home who's just chilling listening to music while all the little fuzzy's are wreaking havoc on the town and screwing with everyone lmao in Paper Mario. I have another area that's space themed with a satelite and an asteroid floating at the very front of my town overlooking the sky and it would be sick to be able to put an Arwing there ya know.

And there's this new item in that you can order with Nook Tickets that reminds me of those lil things you have to climb up to avoid the guards in Zelda's castle in Ocarina of Time and I was thinking about buying that, re-creating something like that and then having a master sword around there lol

Nintendo unfortunately no longer owns that IP so I don't think they'd be able to do this, but it would be nice I wish they would've brought back more than the Mario items. I do like the items they have brought back but I miss the Master Sword and the masks they had. Definitely a missed opportunity.

I'm pretty sure there's a petition regarding this somewhere online. We should all sign it and then harass Nintendo with it individually until they get the picture lol

That's a damn shame... Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie were mad chill. Damnn. But there's still like 90% of the other games they own that they can bring items back from lol. Yeah in my brain I can't figure out why they had the items in every single Animal Crossing but then in this one they decided not to bring them back. Tradition is important for a lot of fans. Plus the items were extremely unique being Nintendo-based. Makes zero sense.

Nostalgia is blinding though. I remember downloading the WA update and then seeing that other Amiibo beyond the cards brought special villagers. This was the same time I started collecting Amiibo cards and this was when they were still available in stores.

The new update brought a bunch of large outdoor items. Not gonna spoil any for you but a lot of them are epic lol if you weren't already aware of them.

I agree, these items always felt totally out of place in AC to me ... I'm glad the Mario stuff is in the game since other people want it, but it doesn't mean I have to use it myself. I did get it all, since I'm a catalogue completionist !! But it's all in storage and will never be used on my island. If they brought all the other Metroid/Splatoon/MH etc. stuff back, that would be awesome for the people that want it, but it would never be used by me ...

Or you could also have themes for different sections of your island which is what I did. I literally have a small Super Mario Bros 2 section, a small Paper Mario Koopa Village House section, and even hybrid sections where you get a combination of like Crash Bandicoot but then also like Futurama and stuff like that lol. Like for example on one of my rocks near the beach, I have lab experiment potions, a skull and a cold pod with an astronaut facing the sea so you kind of get like a Neo Cortex's lab vibe but then also a Futurama vibe or something or even like a secret UFO experimentation area lmao.

I also have this area that has a bunch of prehistoric stuff like amber and fossils and a triceratops cutout. I was thinking about putting an Arwing somewhere there if they ever added it back so it would be like Fox in the Thorntail Hollow map in Starfox Adventures lol
