Should we have a welcome board?

The only way that an Intro Board would be a success would be if it was shown on the front page. No one (new members) would find it if it was a sub board.

Well with ZB, we'll have an auto-PM to new members and it can direct them to a welcoming board or it can say they can do that in the Well.

What about a newcomer to forums? Someone who has never used a forum before, etc. They won't know what to do with a PM or think about clicking it. Wait, nvm, in ZB it comes up automatically. The PM can welcome and then direct them to the sub board. I think that's fine.

Auto PMs aren't sufficient in anyway. They make the member feel more unwanted and unneeded. A welcome forum is inviting and comforting thus making the members first TBT experience a good one and not their last one.
