side characters

what do you guys think about the side characters that have been put into games like Mario Party and the sports games? I'm talking about Waluigi, Daisy, Baby Bowser, all those that honestly, aren't very original.

I don't think they should be in Brawl because they're basically fillers in all their games, they have no back story and were just kinda thrown in out of nowhere, and are basically copies of other characters. I honestly cant see Waluigi and Baby Mario in Brawl (I didnt mention Daisy because she's basically already in melee when you change peach's color)

Waluigi would be cool to see in Brawl, so would Baby Mario.

I definently want to see Waluigi in Brawl. Sure, he has no originality, but it would be cool to see him and Wario take on Mario and Luigi. Mario and Wario are rivals, so why not put in Luigi's rival?(Assuming Luigi will be playable which I'm 99% sure will happen).

I don't really care, the more characters the better.

don't be so quick to cast them off so quickly. Mario didn't have much of a back story at a point, and look at Luigi, pure copy but evolved into his own character. Though I think for most an assist trophy or coloring on an already available character is enough.

I don't want to see ANY of those characters, even if they are assist trophies. Having Wario is enough, he's a giant fart joke.

I agree, assist trophies would be great for them, I honestly dont see them as main characters, but an assist trophy would be cool, not sure exactly what they would do, but... lol
