i'd use online stuff but i usually want to save my work without signing up or i end up closing the I.E window >.<

There is none that you cannot download. Gimp is free, small, and a great program. It does require a couple extra steps sometimes than photoshop would take to do the same thing.

I'm downloading it at the moment and getting excited because I have photoshop but not on this laptop and I used to play around with it but never had the patience to do anything useful on it and I never really learnt any techniques and this was before I was introduced to the land of sigs!
