Can somebody tell me the rarity of silver items that appear at Nook's? And what items do?

I don't have exact numbers, but I've been playing for a month and have only seen one silver Slingshot in Nook's. So, I think the Silver items are pretty rare.

Yay. I just got Silver Slingshot! It was at my 'ingtons.

I don't have exact numbers, but I've been playing for a month and have only seen one silver Slingshot in Nook's. So, I think the Silver items are pretty rare.

Pure random, better than regular, but not as difficult as gold. (gold shovel is an exception)
They are mostly for showing off. c=

So, far, I have only seen one at Nook's (the rod) and i've had this game since Christmas. So, I would say they are pretty rare
