So now there are videos of full Brawl matches and luckily Smashville made it into the demo. So ya... we know it was a little disappointing when it was announced because they just made a platform with an AC background, but I think it's still pretty cool. It's funny because some of the characters in the background are watching the battle, and their heads follow the characters. Some of them are sleeping (like the owls, since it's during the day). And of course at 8 on Saturday K.K. will make an appearance.

A lot of game series in SSB have one stage in the beginning and one unlockable stage. Maybe there will be another AC stage, possibly in Tom Nook's shop. And there's still a chance of an AC character. If we rule out all of the characters in the background of Smashville, and now Resetti since he will be an assist trophy, I think the only character(s) that have a chance of making it as playable ones are the AC boy and girl, sometimes called the "animal crossers". Since these aren't specific characters (like Tom Nook), there can be more than one of them shown at once because they're still different people.
edit: Some more things I noticed about Smashville:
- Pete can be seen flying in the background.
- One of those balloon presents passes by, I'm guessing an item is in it.
- You can see Kapp'n's car drive up to the Town Hall like it does in ACWW.
- The music in the background (of the video I saw) is the ACWW theme. So now we know there are at least 2 songs: that and Go K.K. Rider.
