SNES VC on New 3DS

I was wondering how accurate the SNES emulation is on 3DS VC. I know you have the option to play the games in their native resolution, which is great, but what about the colors? From what I've seen in pictures and videos it seems to be pretty spot on compared to the original games on SNES. The NES games on VC are reeeally dark.

I'm thinking of getting a New 3DS just for the SNES-games so I'd like some input from people who've played both the VC-SNES and original SNES and can compare.

I almost bought a new 3ds for the same reason (Link to the Past in my purse is very tempting).

I bought the DKC trilogy on the N3DS XL since they are my favorite 2D platformers ever. The quality is perfect to me, I don't really see those details usually (brightness, ect).

I did play these games on the original SNES, and also on the GBA. In any case, the games looked very similar to me.
