I know when it rains, you don't have to water your flowers. But what about snow? Do you still have to water flowers when it's snowing?

the only reason you water flowers is to stop them from turning brown. You have to water them once a week not everyday.

When it snows or rains, your flowers automatically get watered, and will be back to normal the next day.

Snow = Water (at least in the long run).

So I don't think you have to water your flowers for that day [if it snows].

You should still water, because I'm getting wilting flowers already.

I don't think you have to water your flowers unless they turn brown. I never watered my flowers in WW unless they were brown.

Hmm.....well my flowers still wilt during the winter, so I guess you still have to water them. That's what I do.

o really? I thought there really was no effect from rain/snow... I thought only you could water them...

cool thanks, i will water less now!
Not necessarily. If it doesn't snow or rain, and if you water less, then all your flowers will still dry up! :O

But I still don't think you have to water them every day. I still water mine everyday, but ya'know.

Well, by meaning 'watering less' he means that not water for a few days. But I've tried and I didn't water, for instance, 3 days, some of the flowers disappeared and some of them dried up.
Still, I'm not saying that you have to water them every now and then. ;)

I didn't water about 10 of my flowers for 3 days and they didn't wither o.o

Well, lucky you!

Sometimes, the flowers do not wither if you don't water them. It's just by chance that the wilt or not. It's best to water them every 1 or 2 days. But if there's rain or snow, you may not have to. They water them for you!

i can 100% confirm that rain has the same effect as snow when it comes to watering flowers.

also, you do NOT need to water all of your flowers once a week. you only need to water those that are wilting, and only if the rain/snow isn't doing it for you already.

it is true that wilting is a thing of chance - you have no control over which ones wilt. watering flowers that are not wilting does not do anything. :veryhappy:

Are you sure about that? I've got a ton of flowers in my town and I water them every day. I've had the game since Christmas and not 1 flower has ever withered.

I might now take the time to water my town :p i can safly say i've never used a watering can in my AC:CF life, and i've actually bought enough flowers to obtain the silver can :p

WT...! I don't know that!

personally, i'd rather just water the flowers when they're wilting (like max 3 or 4 out of probably 100+ flowers in my town...) every day than watering ALL of my flowers every day just to avoid wilting... if you water them when they're wilting the next day they're fine... just seems like a waste of time to water them when you don't need to. the only time i would water them out of nowhere is if i had a golden watering can and i wanted black flowers. just for reference if this answers anyone's questions:
