So does anyone else have really terrible Internet

Yep, same here. Probably due to more people nearby using the internet. Sometimes it’s slow and other times it’s fast. It just depends.

Always. I can never stream 1080p videos because they lag and buffer so bad. 720p is the max for me!

A few of my friends have been saying the same thing. Its really unfortunate because now that our classes have switched to online-only our exams are online too, and a lot of my classmates have been temporarily kicked out of the exam because of connection issues

My internet as been fine, the only problem is that it seems at least once a week for the past 4-5 weeks, there's been moments where it cuts out on and off for several hours. The most recent one it only went down for about 10 minutes and was back to normal afterwards, so it is improving, but still very annoying.

my internet’s actually been decent as of late but there’s times where suddenly nothing will load - usually happens at night so ig it’s the price i pay for being a night owl lmao

I feel like especially since quarantine began, my Internet connection has been the absolute worst it's ever been, geez. Everything lagssssss! Anyone else in the same boat or no?
I thought I was the only one! It took me 7 tries to leave an island the other day, 7!

I used to have absolutely god awful internet— only one person could really do anything at a time as far as streaming or playing games, and even then it was patchy. My internet is a whole lot better now, but it has been a little sketchy since quarantine began. It’s randomly cut out on me twice, both times when I was playing NH online with someone.

My internet router is placed in the basement. The internet is a nightmare when I'm on the other side of the house. It drives me crazy, and I would have to walk a few meters just to reconnect to the internet if my laptop refuses to load.

My home internet is the absolute worst. Awful, slow, cuts out frequently- max download is 3 Mbps. 3! No joke. So....if I want to play online or travel to other islands, I use my cellular data, with my phone as mobile hotspot. Uses surprisingly small amount of data to play ac online.

it's usually fine, but since march it's been terrible. it disconnects at random at various points throughout the day. sometimes it's back up within 5 minutes, sometimes it takes hours.

Thankfully I don't experience too many dips, but it's common where I work. There are also times where the Wi-Fi doesn't work at all. Definitely gets frustrating when you're looking to do something!

Same, but my problem is more that it cuts off every 10 minutes on a good day.

sometimes my internet is god awful, other times it's ok! idk what it is lol

Mine is just as slow as before, I mean we're supposed to have like 100/100 but it's not even 10 sometimes. Like it's not expensive but scammer offers more like it.

Also my phone company sucks scam with data like.. uh they just gave us like 50 gb for free in april due to corona and i hardly used up that lmao

I recently got a computer built and when I tried using the wifi it was horrendous.
Got it wired now for the first time and internet is good. Can't really compare since it's my first time getting my computer wired haha

my wifi's been quite faulty lately. it's usually somewhat quite quick so it's a little confusing,

Kinda, yeah. I think, while everyone being at home is causing network congestion here (definite thing in Australia), I just had bad internet to begin with. It's very unstable just from the wind. I live in a place with tons of trees and fairly far from the exchange, and iirc the line they put in is in quite bad condition. (I use my phone hotspot to play AC quite often, but I don't have enough data to keep doing that long-term.)

The speed of my internet is decent, but the bandwidth is inconsistent. Some days it can handle several devices at once, on others it can’t keep up with videos. I guess that’s expected for a rural area.
