... and i need some opinions on what to do!
now, i need a snooty, as i'm out on one- however, i still don't intend on keeping judy if i were to get her. the biggest reason i'm considering her is because she's #9 on the popularity list, and i'd probably put her up for sell/auction/trade on here (that is, if i don't get too attached to her in the the couple of weeks i have until i can go home to a nat b connection lol).
my villager sacrifice would probably be cherry, since i have another uchi already, but i'm not sure if i wanna let her go just yet 🥺 i could also kick out etoile because i have her amiibo and could replace her again right after and i have 3 normals total but dont worry about that.

i guess my main question is,
is there still interest on here to get judy? (i'm too scared to use nookazon for villager trading). and do you think i should go for it with the intent to sell her?

Well, with the series 5 Amiibos having long since been released, the general market value of high-demand villagers has tanked. I have no real need or want for Judy, but I could have her whenever I want because I have her card. You could put her up for sale on Nookazon just to see, but she's not really worth keeping around to sell.

I personally wouldn't. It's a lot of work to swap out villagers, especially if you don't intend to keep them. Plus, now that the series 5 amiibos have come out, I haven't seen as much demand for the villagers included in the series. It would be a shame if you got her just to sell and ended up voiding her and starting your friendship level over with a villager you actually wanted to keep.

Most threads on here that were selling Judy seem to have no responses and end with her just getting voided it seems. I would just focus on getting someone you really want rather than picking up a villager with the intent to sell.

The general market for high demand villagers have tanked due to the recent release of the Amiibo cards containing the eight new villagers. I wouldn’t get her, as you’ll likely be voiding her or not getting a sufficient amount of anything in return. If you don’t plan on keeping her, it’s definitely not worth the sacrifice, especially if you aren’t necessarily guaranteed anything in return.

I would get Judy simply cause she's a good villager. However, agreeing with everyone here, I wouldn't get her if you dont plan on keeping her. It wouldn't be worth the trouble of trying to sell/trade her.

However I am very much a Judy advocate. Sure she took me 2+ hours to invite to my town because she wouldn't ask to live there and I failed any of the few games she gave me, but shes an absolute darling of a villager.

i think it would be a waste of time to invite her just to resell since her amiibo is available

I'd definitely focus on villagers you actually want. Prior to the Series 5 card release, you could've sold Judy for a bunch of whatever currency you prefer. But now? Definitely don't go through the process of moving her in just to try to sell her, I don't think you'll get enough to justify the trouble.

I do remember seeing a listing for judy on the new neighbor page that was voided. I had her in my campsite once but didn’t want her. I actually find her eyes kinda creepy. I’m also in need of a snooty and as soon as I get one of my lazies
To move I’m going to look for Diana cause she’s who I want. I agree with the others just get who you want
