I just got this random idea from a thread I was reading.
This is it:
So I'm wondering if there'll be an Animal Crossing game where you can choose to be a villager or the mayor...
Villager:
If you choose to be a Villager you will be able to choose a villager from the 300 something villagers we have. To pick the villager you'll have to type the name because searching through 300 villagers is time-consuming. Once you choose the villager you will appear on the train and then get out, as you always do when making a new character. (Side note: You will have to make a Mayor first if you want to make a villager). You will get out and go to the town hall to meet the Mayor CPU. He/she will tell you to go to Nooks Homes and find where you want to live, then you can get started on other things. (will write more soon)
Mayor:
When you first get the game you will start as the Mayor, with Rover asking you questions and such as usual (still on the train). You will be greeted by Isabelle in the train station and welcomed back to town. She will say that the town thought you had moved away so the house was demolished, and that she was very sorry but you would have to pick a new one. (will write more soon)
