Think about the user base we have on this site. Some of them are new to forums, so I think putting down concrete rules would be a good thing. Some of them are kids and haven't quite developed common sense yet.

The TBT market place issue could probably be fixed by a simple re-name of the subforum. Re-name it 'Forum Services' or something.

Well that would be very bad and lead to horrible consequences... So please don't do that!

It is a bit shocking that we don't have very many concrete rules in place other than IRC and signature stuff. :S

I thought the same thing. I didn't say anything because I didn't think it was any of my business, but... Really, people spent their hard-earned money on the game. People can play w/e way they desire.

It's absolutely no ones place to give guidelines of 'how and how not to play'.

I think the rules about Time travelling and duplicating items need to be removed completely.

Who's buisness is it of TBT if people time travel. Some people HAVE to play that way because of busy lives. Maybe not talking about Duplicating items is alright but Time travelling??

I think its not so much that Time Travelling itself is bad, it that usually someone has done it with the intent to profit. Like depositing 1 million bells in the bank and then TTing a month until their account is full. Or gathering holiday items only with the intent to sell it to other members for high prices.

As for duping, I think many members would agree that we don't want duped items being traded to us as any normal item. :/

I still don't think that's such a bad thing. Personally, for me, I don't TT and during holidays I don't have a lot of time to play. Money is very easy to come across in this game so if I wanted to get the holiday furniture (which I usually don't anyways), I wouldn't mind paying a lot for them from someone who TT to get this stuff for people who want them and can't get them.
