Well... Ninty decided to get a little bit more vague this time in the announcement of the next DLC item. I'm glad for it, because I was really let down by the Tax Day "item," and I wish it had never been announced. But I'm getting over it and moving on (yes, KingKombat, by the time you posted your thread, it was already time for people to be over the disappointment).

So, the announcement says: "The next scheduled delivery celebrates teachers everywhere!"

So, taking a renewed perspective in what Nintendo considers DLC worthy of announcing, would anyone care to guess as to: A) What the next item might be and B) When it will release?

My guess: I think the release will occur on May 5th (National Teacher's Day in the US), and the item will be an apple. Not a golden apple, or a statue of an apple, or furniture shaped like an apple... just an apple.

I'm thinking Nintendo will save sending out the really cool items for Nintendo related releases and actual observed holidays. And since this is the date of National Teacher's Day, I assume we won't be getting something cool for Cinco de Mayo.

Ummmm yeah an apple...probably... I dont know when the DLC will be released though...

I'm gonna say a pencil or a book, there's already that one Japanese furniture apple. (or was that hacked?)

I think that apple was a texture hack.

The Japanese apple... or Japple as I like to call it... is made by hacking your money to have more in your wallet than is normally possible, then attempting to remove it all into a bag. The Japanese text says something like "fool" or "moron" or something... essentially scolding you for hacking your money.
