I never used motion blur. Just a nice light pastel look and me copying his render twice and making it look echoed

And I know, I don't like it much either, I mainly wanted to do a cool - ish background from scratch.

the painting effect you gave the render makes him blend in with the background and makes him very hard to focus on. I suggest that you duplicate your render and bring it above all those layers and maybe smudge him on the edges very slightly to go with the flow and blend your render. i really like what you did with the left side this time looks much better. also the background is very nice i love the texture. i don't really see any lighting effects in this tag and i think that could improve it immensely. overall its a job well done =)

The effect on the focal point is quite odd and doesn't match with your style. You pretty much used an oil filter or something similar. The background is empty, and has an obvious smudge-like feeling to it. Plus the left side is getting repetitive already. It's a 7/10, but the simple effects go great with the signature.
