Southern Hemisphere players, will you be setting your seasons to match real life?

I still can't decide if I will change it to match real life or not! My whole life playing AC I am so used to seasons being reversed. Although I think I may change to match real life.

I'm not reversing the seasons. I only played New Leaf and Pocket Camp but I never liked having it be snowy in game while it was 40ºC outside! I'd put my character in warm winter clothing and get hot looking at her, but then I'd put her in summer clothes and feel guilty because there was snow everywhere

As someone who actually adores Cherry Blossom trees and spring especially balanced weather I shall be playing in Northern <3 Although snow is always beautiful and plain fun to play in : D Definitely excited for the long-wait of winter haha.

I feel like it would be novel at first but I'd probably end up regretting it eventually. I think I'll stick with northern.

I had my mind set on southern coz I'm in Australia, but cherry blossoms are going to be blooming soon and that's my favourite time in animal crossing. I also like the idea of a white Christmas, even though I haven't had one and it would probs be like 40+ degrees on Christmas

Yeah I'm leaning towards Southern seasons, I'm sad I'll miss the cherry blossoms, but I think it will be worth the wait!

Opps, I meant that I was originally thinking Southern Hemisphere but because I want it snowing in December I chose Northern. Sorry, I forgot to add that in.

Curious what kind of fish you are seeing. I sped through the island creation to get the fruit I wanted... I was not 100% sure I chose correctly on my hemisphere (I’m northern) I made a post with a bit of a funky title... can you share so I can compare

I'm a European living in Australia (semi long-term) but that's a hard no from me. Hate the idea of Christmas in summer and like to match the traditional seasons. Cause let's be real, Australian winters just aren't the same anyway
